The Space
Built in 1910, 229 East Broad Street is a historical member of Downtown Athens. Featuring exposed brick and high windows overlooking North Campus, our upstairs dining room at The Place is available for private event bookings. Whether a celebration, reunion, rehearsal dinner, bridal shower, corporate event, social or more, our space offers a timeless atmosphere and refined Southern style to house your special occasion.
With five high top tables and a full bar, the venue space seats 37 guests for sit-down dining service, or accommodates up to 50 standing. Depending on the style of event, we offer food through our dining menus or buffet style bites through our catering kitchen. Both food & alcohol are included in the rental price, which is determined by our past and projected sales for the date & time of the event.
